Thanks for Volunteering at the Mid-Autumn Festival! -- And other items of business...

To those who willingly gave of their time and effort to set up chairs tables and other items, thank you very much! We also appreciate Faozi and Laina Said for the sound system. Perhaps we will have a dance before they leave later this year. There was a lot of hard work especially from Brother Mower, our High Councilman.

We also congratulate our intramural Football team for their fine play in their first two games. Their last game was during the Mid-Autumn Festival, but we know they played a great game. The remaining games are as follows:

Our Activities Committee are in process of finalizing a volleyball tournament between our ward and a nearby ward. Details will be forthcoming and we hope the chilly weather will allow us to play outdoor volleyball within the next month or so.

We will be playing volleyball this week in our quad area; anyone in our ward can come and setup the net if they wish and use the volleyball. Come by apartment 301 or email us at 44activities@gmail.com

August 22 BBQ

Below are pictures taken at or August 22nd BBQ back in the Provo Canyon area. Thanks to Faozi and Laina Said for setting up the reservation for the pavilion, Bishop and his family for the grills and purchasing the food, Brother and Sister Mower for their tomatoes and help, and everyone else who attended and brought some food.
